The Full Story
Cascadia Archives is a record label dedicated to resurrecting lost music from the Pacific Northwest that were originally released on CD ONLY and pressing it on vinyl for the first time. There are so many vital bands from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s that never had their music made available on vinyl. Cascadia Archives is creating the library of lost albums on vinyl, for the bands and the fans.

CA has two styles of releases. The first is a series of local Oregon and Washington bands that existed in the 1990s and 2000s that were local legends but never found bigger audiences. These releases are extremely limited. They are created using as much DIY methodology as possible with hand printed covers, lathe cut record, hand stamped labels, hand numbered and even put in to shrink one at a time. All created and assembled by hand, every copy unique and singular.
The second series are more traditional and classic vinyl releases created at a pressing plant; giving life to albums, EPs and singles that were CD ONLY. This series features bands that broke through nationally and internationally but have music that never made it to vinyl. These will be full color covers, color vinyl, as close to audiophile quality as possible and lovingly recreated with the artists. CA will bring the music lovers eye to the process, encouraging liner notes that focus on the artists, the recording process and sharing stories from these musicians and the people involved.
