This is the sophomore album from the Salem, Oregon band, The Widgets. This was an album that felt like a step forward in their songwriting. The songs have a stronger pop element mixed with their eclectic song structure choices. HCTKDD was recorded on 2” tape and the sonic elements of this record are another step forward. This remains one of my favorite artistic expressions that was ever caught on tape. I am immensely proud of this record and I am still just so tickled that it is out there. It features a new cover that matches the new design of the first record. It has a poster sized liner notes that is also packed with stories, show flyers, pictures and a few secrets. This was my real labor of love.
